2015 AT&T Byron Nelson Raises $5.6 million
Proceeds benefit Momentous Institute

Irving, Texas, Aug. 27, 2015 – Salesmanship Club Charitable Golf of Dallas, host organization of the AT&T Byron Nelson, announced today the 2015 tournament raised over $5.6 million. The net proceeds from the annual PGA TOUR event benefit Momentous Institute, the nonprofit owned and operated by the Salesmanship Club of Dallas.

 

“We are incredibly grateful to AT&T for their dedication and commitment to our tournament and cause in their inaugural year as our title sponsor,” said David Corrigan, 2015 tournament chairman. “And, despite the extreme weather conditions – heavy rain, flooding, even a tornado – we delivered another successful tournament with outstanding results.”

 

Since its start in 1968, the tournament has raised $143 million and transformed 100,000 lives.

 

“The heart of the AT&T Byron Nelson is its cause,” says Bill McClung, Momentous Institute’s board chair. “These proceeds ensure that we can continue to provide direct services to kids in our community, while also expanding Momentous Institute’s reach even further, providing more opportunities for success to kids and families.”

 

The 2016 AT&T Byron Nelson will be held May 16-22 at TPC Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas in Irving.
